Autumn

Ombre

Ombre hair reminds me summer surfer hair, and its never too formal or done. Which is probs why I love it so much. I used to be obsessed with making sure my hair was perfectly polised, straightened with zero frizz. Thankfully I'm over that look now because it was flipping hard work.

I've taken the "ombre" plunge and bleached the s**t otta my hair. Its gone a wee bit orange but I like that!

Candy Clouds

I just popped outside to take some photographs of the amazing sky as the sun was setting. I edited them a wee bit to make them more pastel. I think they would make absolutely amazing fashion prints.

Editing

Just a wee bit of messing around on photoshop, I kinda like it.

Seeing as I'm back into illustration I thought I might try a self portrait, except I look a bit like wor Cheryl Cole...I'll be posting that as soon as its done.

Rainy Day Out

Yesterday me and Paul pal decided that we needed an inspirational day out, we were both kinda already feeling a creative block.

Our plan was to hit Waterstones, but there were no good design books to buy. Then onto Leeds Art Gallery and The Henry Moore Institute, but they were both closed / rubbish. So basically the highlight of the day was eating a Greggs pasty in the rain.

I had no idea this photo was being taken but somehow I managed to look like a pretentious yet confused poser. Quite an achievement.

Illustration

So I havent drawn in over a year. Last year I was determined to focus on learning how to use Illustrator properly, so pretty much all my uni work was all digitally drawn. I was told by my tutor that I should practice by drawing faces, then move on to drawings relating to my project.

This isn't too bad, not too good either though.

My Birthday

Last Friday was my alcohol fulled birthday tea party. Lovely Hannah helped by taking the photos and helping me decorate and set it all up.

I was planning on sharing a few pics from the night, but I think its a wee bit weird blogging personal stuff like that. I kinda feel silly assuming anyone has any interest in what I post as it is, but I hope that you do!

Thanks to everyone who came, it was such a good night!

New stuffs

Shirt £12.99 Urban Outfitters / Bluebell fragrance sachet £2 / Ticket holder £6 / Pack of three notebooks £9 all from Cath Kidston

Popped into town quite a while ago now and bought these nice bits. A Cath Kidston shop has just opened in Leeds (bad news for my wallet) and they've decorated it so nicely. My room looks like a flipping showroom for Cath Kidston already but I couldn't help but buy some more stuff.
