Styling

The photos above were taken by photographer Adam Fussell. I wanted to get involved with some styling for fashion photography and have recently been helping Adam over the past few weeks. Along with fashion designer Daisy Webb I styled and art directed these two shoots as well as attempting to model for the first!

I'm really interested in fashion styling, and I think its a good idea to be able to show a wide range of skills in your portfolio. I styled an editorial shoot for Diasy the other day, hopefully I'll have the images soon.

Caroline

Caroline of Caroline's Mode has been wearing some really great stuff recently. The Swedish have such good style, cant wait to head over to Stockholm again this summer.

Park

Yesterday was so lovely and hot Paul and I decided to spend a few hours in the park designing logos, and then wonder up to my mums allotment. I liked how the dog roses around the allotments matched my floral shorts!

My Packaging - Update

Me and my boyfriend Paul spent the afternoon creating my packaging design, well all I really did was say "mmmm thats nice". These are some mock ups of what the paper band (wrapped around the fabric) and labels will look like.

Interiors Mood Boards

Here are a few mood boards I created to show my cushions / interior fabric designs. I'm really enjoying playing around with layouts at the moment, plus its nice to have a break from designing once in a while.

Mood Boards

I created these little mood boards to show my colour palette and how my prints could be used for woman's wear. I have quite a few left to make for my interiors fabric designs now.

London

I went to London with my mum for a few days, as I had a few internship interviews to go to. Here are a few phone snaps I took during our lovely trip.

House draped in Wisteria / Original underground signage / The beautiful Orla Kiely shop / Enjoying a frozen yogurt in Covent Garden / Royal wedding bunting down Regent street / Mini Liberty print suitcase / Origami cranes made from Liberty prints

FMP: Woman's Wear Print Designs

A few examples of how my print designs would actually work on some garments. In reality I am planning on making a few shift dresses, hopefully very similar to the top image.
