Printmaking Workshop
I ran a print making workshop last week where I taught a few lovely people how to hand print onto tote bags using stencils. I had a fantastic day, and despite my nerves really enjoyed teaching people a new creative skill. The photos above show pretty much the whole process, and the bags I designed too. Thanks to Annie for taking the great pictures!
Hand Printed Bags
I am running a few workshops tomorrow at the Mary Portas Living and Giving shop on Primrose Hill. In the afternoon I'll be teaching people how to easily print onto canvas tote bags so they can take home a one of a kind handmade accessory! I created the prints above today to show as examples, I even made the bags themselves with a little help!
Im really excited to have some printmaking fun tomorrow, so please pop along if you can.
Wants - Labour and Wait
I visited a wonderful shop today called Labour and Wait with the boys, I want pretty much everything they stock!
I dragged Paul along to Anthropologie on Kings Road the other day, I'm pleased to say as soon as we stepped inside we were both blown away by the products and the shop interior. I've been to the Anthropologie in New York a few years ago and since then I have admired the amount of effort and thought that goes into styling the whole store. The clothes are classic, a little bit vintage looking, and very feminine. The prints are gorgeous too, quite similar to my own style of print design and right up my street!
Homemade London
I am very lucky as tomorrow I begin my work placement with Homemade London, based near Marble Arch. I had a lovely meeting today and I cant wait to beginning planning a few print workshops and hopefully trying out a few new crafts of my own.
Ps How perfect is that golden tea set? It makes tea taste pretty fantastic too!
