I just got the train from London to my family home in Newcastle. I am in such a happy festive mood sat in my lavishly decorated home (my mum went crazy with the decorations this year) that I had to share this gem with you. Warning, there is quite a lot of swearing so make sure the kiddies aren't watching.

PS you should watch all the Funny or Die Drunk History episodes, they're amazing.

Notebooks

This christmas I am teaching my mum bookbinding as a crafty present. I made these triangle prints the other day. I think I'll by some nice paper and make some printed notebooks for my Etsy shop. What does everyone think? Also let me know what your favourite colour is, and I might re-design one to end up in the shop!

Floral Drawings

Over the past few weeks I've been spending a bit of time each day drawing whatever it is I want to draw. I keep coming back to leaves for some reason! Making some of these into new prints over the weekend I think.

Fabric For Sale

I have finally put up a selection of fabrics onto my Etsy shop. I will be regularly updating it I promise, like a new years resolution but in December. I am planning on creating lots of lovely products for you all over the next month or so which I am really excited about. But in the meantime if you have seen anything of mine that you have really loved that is not online yet please get it touch and I'll pop it in the shop!

Silk Samples

I got my silk samples back from the printers yesterday, really happy with how they came out. Some wee adjustments need doing before I attempt to make some scarves but now I know its definitely going to work out, I'm sure they'll look lovely tied in a bow on top of a head!

More Triangles

Yet more triangle patterns, I think I'm addicted. Not sure what these are for yet, but they are still nice to make. Its handy to have print collections floating about, you never know when they might come in handy. Last minute christmas gifts perhaps? 

Scotch & Soda

Scotch and Soda make beautiful, stylish and most importantly affordable clothes. I think this is one of the nicest look books I've seen this season. To be honest I dont need to buy anything as my wardrobe consists of a mish-mash of Autumnal hued casual wear, which is kinda sad as I need an excuse to purchase some of their wonderful clothes. Also I think the model is one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen. Not jealous.

Wit & Delight Mixtape

This, in my book, is one of the best mix tapes I have ever come across. A perfect mix of important feelings / important artists that I've gone through stages of feeling / listening to in my life.

I recently saw on the Oh Joy! Blog that online fabric shop Kicoli had been given their own feature. I adore Japanese fabric design, these patterns look as though they've been painted right onto the fabric. very inspiring indeed.
